Everything You Need To Know About Resin Floral Preservation

I am based in Montrose, Pennsylvania. I work with couples from across the USA. If you are not local, you will be able to ship your flowers to me using a prepaid label I setup and flower shipping instructions. OR I can travel to you (extra travel fee). Ask me about bouquet road trip pickup.

I suggest reserving a spot once you have set a wedding date and have begun booking your other wedding vendors. For example: a great time to book with me is directly after you've booked with your florist. I only accept 2-3  bouquets per weekend, so to ensure we can work together, reach out ASAP.

To book, please fill out an inquiry form with details about you and your wedding. I will get back to you about availability and discuss more details within 24 business hours after I have received your inquiry.

I can only accept last minute orders as my schedule allows.  This is why I strongly recommend booking in advance.
If your wedding has already passed, I will assess the condition of your flowers to make sure they can still be preserved.
If your wedding is coming up within the next few days, please contact me asap!

My turnaround time is up to 6-8 months. All keepsakes are handcrafted and take 30+ hours to physically make while in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. This time range can depend on a few factors and is not an exact timeline, but I will send out updates along the way. Due to the nature of flowers and resin, it is a time consuming process when done properly. I want your keepsake(s) to be as perfect as possible, so I promise it will be worth the wait!

For best results, within 1- 3 days of your wedding. Although I can revive slightly wilted flowers, your keepsakes will look the best if you get your bouquet to me ASAP. You have two options:

Mail your flowers: After booking, you will receive documents and a video tutorial on how to ship your flowers to my studio. You will receive a UPS shipping label with my studio address within a week before your wedding date. Shipping expenses are your responsibility and are included in the invoice cost, but the prepaid shipping labels I offer reduce overnight shipping fees from 50-70% what you’d pay without one. Very few companies offer this service, but I am happy to minimize the stress of shipping in this way.
Use Bouquet Pickup Service: Local? I'll pickup your flowers. Out of state? I'll road trip out to you to handpick up your bouquet. (additional travel fee for bouquet pickup service)

I have received hundreds of wedding bouquets over the past 5+ years from across the USA. It is important to follow the guide/ video tutorial I provide since it gives detailed (but easy to follow) instructions on how to safely pack and ship your flowers. Please be sure you ship them according to the guide. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.

At this time, I only work with bouquets within the USA. Bouquets coming back into the USA may not be allowed to cross the border. If you are getting married internationally, you may be interested in having your bouquet recreated!

Yes! If your bouquet is hanging around in your closet, send it my way! I provide info on how to ship pre-dried flowers. The 6-8 month timeline will not change as I preserve bouquets in the order I receive them. Keepsakes created with air-dried flowers/ pre-dried flowers are not discounted.

No, I handle all flower drying using special techniques and materials to keep them looking as fresh as possible. In fact, I provide expert flower care instructions to keep your bouquet fresh as possible prior to shipping.

For orders booked in advance:
50% of order total due at time of booking. The remaining 50% will be due one week before your wedding. Wedding upcoming within 7 days or less OR wedding has passed: 100% of order total due at booking. Invoices are due upon receipt.

If you are shipping your flowers, the cost of your prepaid shipping label will be included in your final invoice.

*Pricing may change without notice. Once you secure your spot, the pricing of your chosen keepsake(s) will not change. Upgrades to a larger keepsake or extra artwork pieces added to the order after the deposit are subject to new pricing.

Depending on how many keepsakes you order/the size of the keepsake(s) you order and your original bouquet, some flowers may not be included in the final design. I select the freshest flowers to work with to create keepsakes to create the best artwork possible.

Extra flowers are not sent back unless requested and postage is paid by the client for the extra expense.

One of my goals is to capture the essence, colors, and textures of your day. With that said, some flowers preserve better than others.

I also suggest ordering a larger keepsake if one of your top priorities is to really match the aesthetic of your original bouquet. Smaller keepsakes are more like a “snapshot” of your bouquet. I provide up to 2 design proofs prior to the epoxy stage of the process so you’ll know what your keepsake will look like.

While I use the best techniques and materials available to preserve fresh flowers, your flowers will undergo some changes.
For example:
  • White flowers are more prone to wilting and dry creamy in color
  • Red flowers dry a deeper tone
  • Dense centered roses will be slightly opened up to properly dry them
  • Petals on delicate flowers such as orchids or anemones may show some translucent spots in resin. This is caused from general wear and tear/petal bruising from your wedding day and shipping.
  • Tropical flowers may turn more brown instead of vibrant
  • Succulents do not dry and cannot be used in the resin art. We can source faux succulents if desired!
I do color enhance flowers as necessary at my expert discretion to ensure your keepsake looks as stunning as possible. This brings back the color to your flowers and helps minimize petal bruising.

This is an important step that takes extra time and care, but it helps me create the most visually beautiful keepsake collection I can. I color match the original shades of flowers to give them a “flower facelift”. Not all flowers require this, however some flowers do benefit from it. I color enhance as necessary at my expert discretion.

Unlike other companies, I include this service at no additional fee.
Yes! I offer vinyl personalization at an additional fee. You can choose to have your initials and wedding date added OR a small excerpt from your wedding vows.

It makes your keepsake even more special to add in pictures, photo charms, ribbon, lace, wedding invitation, or any other sentimental items that are true to your love story. If you’d like to use a photo from your wedding gallery, please know that may push back the general timeline.
You are welcome to change or add on to your order, however I do not allow “downgrading” once a deposit is placed. If you are unsure which keepsake collection you’d like, I suggest booking the smallest option and upgrading prior to your wedding. Please contact me to make changes!
With my professional & detail oriented process, your flowers will be loved on every step of the way.
  • Shipped or delivered to my studio.
  • Processed and dried using specific techniques and materials depending on what type of flowers are in your bouquet over a time of 4-6 weeks
  • Prepped for design proofs- this means they are cleaned of any materials they were dried in
  • Placed in up to two design proofs for your approval prior to the epoxy stage
  • Color enhanced as necessary to revive color and minimize the appearance of petal bruising/ translucent spots
  • Encapsulated in many layers of high quality & hand poured resin over the span of weeks. Each resin piece receives at least 10-12 quality control checks during the resin pouring process.
  • Finished main artwork pieces will be given a polished chamfered edge. All sides and edges are polished to shine and remove surface imperfections such as dust or scratches.

Yes, please contact me to inquire about background options. Colored backgrounds are a new offering, but they can complement your flowers or make them pop.
